Project Overview

We were approached by a homeowner in Rotherfield who required a secure and well-finished entrance to their driveway and garden. The brief was to supply and install a pair of manual gates that offered privacy without compromising the traditional look of the property. A matching pedestrian gate was also requested for everyday foot access.

To complete the project, we were also instructed to install closeboard fencing that would tie in neatly with the gate line and provide a consistent and strong boundary.

Our Solution

We supplied and installed softwood bell top style manual gates, including a full-width vehicle gate and a separate pedestrian gate for ease of access. The bell top design was chosen for its traditional appearance and the extra privacy it offers thanks to its full-height construction.

The gates were installed without automation at the client’s request, allowing for simple manual use. All ironmongery was carefully selected to match the style of the installation and ensure long-term reliability.

To complete the frontage, we installed closeboard style infill fencing between the gate posts and adjoining boundaries. This provided a strong and wind-resistant finish while visually tying together the entire entrance.
