The Challenge

The owners of a newly built home in Maresfield Park wanted to complete their frontage with a secure and attractive gate system that would reflect the quality of the property. The brief called for a design that added character without being overly ornate, with automation for ease of use. Additionally, the remaining front boundary needed to be enclosed with a natural, countryside-style finish to suit the setting.

Our Approach

We recommended a pair of Iroko hardwood gates in a swan top design – a classic look that complements both traditional and modern homes. The gates were automated using Roger Technology above-ground motors for smooth, reliable operation. To give the homeowners control and flexibility, we configured the system to operate via key fobs as well as a smartphone app. To complete the frontage, we installed chestnut post and rail fencing infills on either side of the entrance.

The Installation

The Iroko gates were fitted precisely at the property’s entrance, treated with a protective oil to preserve their appearance. The swan top design adds a touch of detail without overpowering the clean lines of the new build. The Roger Technology automation system provides dependable performance, with easy access via remote or app. The chestnut fencing infills were installed to close the boundary and bring the whole frontage together with a natural, well-finished look.
