The Challenge

The project came with several key challenges. First, the gate needed to be securely mounted onto aluminium gate posts, which we had to install ourselves. This required precise planning and installation to ensure we maintained the sleek and cohesive design with the fencing.

Another challenge was the automation. The client wanted a fully automated system that could be operated effortlessly. We had considered a number of features when talking to the client but settled on remote keyless fob entry, an inductive loop detection exit system, and a smart WiFi video intercom.

Additionally, the client requested we replace fencing on either side of the gate and around the perimeter of the property. We also installed a matching aluminium pedestrian gate.

Our Approach

After going through the options with our client, we proposed a custom black aluminium swing gate. This gate will be strong, low maintenance, and resistant to corrosion – the perfect long-term option. The gates were detailed with clean lines to match the modern look of the property.

For automation, we selected Roger Technologies underground operators. These operators were installed discreetly to ensure a clean look. The remote key fobs provided the client with easy access, while the inductive loop detection exit system meant vehicles could drive out without hassle. The smart WiFi video intercom allowed the client to see and communicate with visitors via their mobile phone.

Design and Installation

Our team installed the aluminium gate posts and carefully mounted the black aluminium swing gates to ensure the perfect alignment. We also installed the fencing options around the property for a polished, unified look. We then installed the automation systems, tested everything was working efficiently, and trained the client on how to operate.

To further enhance functionality, we installed a black parcel box, allowing the client to securely receive deliveries without the need to open the gates.
