Bespoke Iroko Hardwood Sliding Gate

The Challenge

The primary challenge presented by the property was the shallow nature of the driveway. This restricted the feasibility of conventional gate solutions such as swing gates. Installing a swing gate would have encroached on the limited clearance available and potentially limit vehicle access.

To address this our team devised a gate system that maximised space efficiency while delivering optimal security and aesthetic appeal.

Our Approach

Understanding the requirements of the project, our team proposed a bespoke Iroko hardwood sliding gate integrated with a tracked system. Iroko hardwood was selected for its durability and natural beauty. This ensured that the the gate not only provided enhanced security but also complemented to property’s overall look.

The sliding gate designed allowed for horizontal movement along a discreet track. This minimised the space required and allowed to gate the slide smoothly along the hedge line. This approach not only optimised driveway space but also provided convenient access for any vehicle entering or excising the property.
