Aluminium Cantilever Sliding Gate

The Challenge

The tennis club needed a gate system that could handle constant use while maintaining seamless security and automation. The existing surface at the tennis club was simply not fit for purpose. The dirt and mud provided no stability, making it impossible to install a sliding gate. We had to create a solid foundation capable of supporting the weight and smooth operation of a large aluminium cantilever sliding gate.

With a steady stream of cars coming and going, the gate needed to operate smoothly and swiftly to avoid congestion, especially during peak hours. At the same time, security was a top priority. The club wanted to ensure that only authorised members and staff could gain entry.

Our Approach

Aluminium was ideal for high-traffic environments like this. It’s low maintenance, weather-resistant, and capable of standing up to daily wear and tear, making it a clear choice. Additionally, the sleek aesthetics of the gate would only improve the club’s entrance.

We equipped the gate with a GSM intercom system and keypad entry. This allowed members to enter a secure code upon arrival or use their mobile phones to open the gate remotely. For additional convenience, we installed a vehicle road loop sensor at the exit, automatically opening the gate when a vehicle is detected. This ensured members could exit the club without having to stop and manually interact with the system.

Installation & Automation

Our team excavated and poured a large concrete pad to support the cantilever gate. We then custom-built the aluminium gate to fit the club’s specifications. Every detail, from the alignment and integration with the landscape, was meticulously planned. This ensured the installation to ensure the final result was both functional and visually appealing.

The gate was automated using the Roger Technology sliding gate motor, known for its reliability and efficient performance. The Roger motor, with its smooth operation and minimal noise, was the perfect fit.
