Automated Driveway Gates in Nutley

The Challenge

A homeowner in Nutley wanted a modern, secure entrance that provided privacy without completely closing off the driveway. The brief called for a gate system that allowed partial visibility – enough to see approaching vehicles or visitors from inside – while keeping the overall look sharp and contemporary. Reliable, straightforward access control was also a priority.

Our Approach

We recommended anthracite grey aluminium gates with integrated vision bars. Aluminium was the right material for this installation – lightweight, strong, corrosion-resistant, and virtually maintenance-free compared to timber or wrought iron alternatives. The anthracite grey finish gave the gates a sleek, timeless appearance that works well with a wide range of modern properties.

The vision bars were incorporated during manufacture, providing a clean factory finish while allowing controlled sightlines through the gate. For automation, we selected Roger Technology above-ground operators for their quiet, dependable performance and ease of future servicing. Access was managed through a digital keypad, programmed with a secure code – no fobs, no remote controls, just straightforward entry for residents and authorised visitors.
