We were instructed by a homeowner in Crowborough to provide a secure and private entrance to their driveway. The client requested a timber gate design that offered both visual privacy and a more enclosed feel, while still retaining a traditional style suited to the property.

The project also included a request to install new fencing that would match the appearance and height of the gates for a neat and continuous boundary.

Our Solution

We supplied and installed a set of softwood bell top style vehicle gates, chosen for their full-height design and classic curved top detail. This style offers excellent privacy from the roadside while maintaining a traditional look that suits the character of the property. The solid timber construction also helps to reduce visibility and sound from passing traffic.

For ease of use, the gates were automated using Roger Technology’s above-ground equipment, a trusted system known for its reliability and quiet operation. The setup provides daily convenience for the homeowner while maintaining control over access to the driveway.

In addition to the gates, we were instructed to install closeboard style infill fencing on both sides of the entrance. This type of fencing is ideal for residential properties, providing strength, security, and a clean finish. The fencing was aligned with the gate height and style to create a seamless, cohesive frontage.
